Lauren Peterson
MS, RD, LDN
Lauren Peterson, MS, RD, LDN, is a dynamic Functional & Integrative Registered Dietitian with a lifelong passion for nutrition. Her journey in the field, enriched by extensive education and advanced training in functional medicine, began in a clinical dietetics setting. There, Lauren observed a critical trend: patients were merely surviving, not thriving. Inspired by this realization and her personal health experiences, she pivoted her focus towards identifying and addressing the root causes of health issues using nutrition as a key healing tool.
Lauren's approach is both compassionate and motivating, aimed at helping women rebalance and restore their health. She deeply values each person's unique story, understanding that true health transcends mere absence of disease. Driven by her own challenges with under fueling, over exercising, and excessive stress, and witnessing similar struggles in her family and friends, Lauren embraced a comprehensive lifestyle approach. She advocates for using food as medicine, emphasizes the importance of rest for both body and mind, and sees movement as a form of positive expression.
Christa O’Brien
PT, DPT
Christa O’Brien, PT, DPT, is a dedicated Physical Therapist and Board-Certified Orthopedic Specialist with specialized training in pelvic health. Her journey began as a lifelong athlete and has continued into motherhood. Personal injuries experienced during her athletic pursuits and her experiences as a mother to her son born in 2020 and daughter in 2023 ignited her passion for the restorative capabilities of physical therapy for women.
Recognizing a substantial gap in healthcare pertaining to women's health, particularly in exercise guidance during pregnancy and postpartum, Christa was motivated to delve deeper into her field. Her experiences underscored the need for more specific, safe, and effective exercise recommendations for women during these crucial stages, and is especially passionate about helping women return to running. Driven by this need, she pursued additional training in pelvic health, aiming to empower and educate other women. Christa’s goal is to help women stay active during pregnancy and confidently reclaim their athletic identity postpartum, ensuring safety and comfort in their journey.
