Cinnamon Apple Breakfast Quinoa

Hello September and Apple Picking Season! This Cinnamon Apple Breakfast Quinoa is a great healthy

way to start your morning! It’s full of fiber and packed with protein to keep you full and satisfied all

morning long! This one pot recipe is super easy to make and wonderful for kids too! It resembles the

cinnamon applesauce we all love and think of during this time of year!

Ingredients:

● 2 Large Apples

● Honey

● ½ cup Quinoa

● 2 tsp Cinnamon

● 1 ½ cups Water

Instructions:

1. Peel and core both apples. Then chop them into bite-sized pieces.

2. Add quinoa, water, and apples to a saucepan. Bring to a boil, cover and reduce to simmer for 20-

25 minutes. The apples will be soft and the quinoa will have absorbed the water.

3. Stir in cinnamon and transfer mixture to two bowls.

4. Drizzle with honey and sprinkle with additional cinnamon. Enjoy!
