Ingredients:
1lb extra lean ground turkey
1 TBSP avocado oil
¼ yellow onion, grated
¼ cup parley, fresh, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 TBSP Greek seasoning
Additional ingredients (optional): feta cheese, red peppers, red onion, etc.
Sweet Potato Fry Ingredients:
2 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into thin strips
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
Preheat the grill to medium heat and preheat over to 425 degrees F.
Add all the turkey burger ingredients to a large bowl and mix well. Form the mixture into even patties.
Wash, peel, and cut the sweet potatoes into thin strips (similar to French fries). Pat them dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
In a large bowl, toss the sweet potato strips with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Add a pinch of cayenne pepper if you like a little kick.
Add the patties to the grill and cook for 6-7 minutes per side or until cooked through.
Enjoy!
